These terms cover your use of hometownconsult.com and the calls and texts you agree to. By using the site, you agree to them.
What we are
Hometown Consult is a marketing and scheduling service. Law firms pay us to schedule free consultations with people in their area, and we schedule for one firm in each area. We aren't a law firm, we don't give legal advice, and we don't recommend lawyers. Nothing on this site or in our calls is legal advice, and talking to us doesn't make anyone your lawyer. A lawyer only works for you once you and the law firm agree to work together.
Your free consultation
We never charge you anything, and the consultation with the law firm is free. If you decide to hire the firm after that, you agree on any fees directly with the firm. You never have to hire the firm, and you can cancel or move your consultation at any time.
Who can use this site
You must be at least 18, and the information you give us must be true. These consultations are for people 55 or older, or families planning for a parent, in the areas where we schedule consultations.
Calls
When you tap Request my free consultation, you agree that Hometown Consult and the law firm serving your area may call you at the number you gave us about your consultation, including calls made with an automatic dialing system or an AI voice. Calls are recorded. You don't have to agree to this to get a consultation or to buy anything. You can take back your permission at any time by telling us on a call or emailing hello@hometownconsult.com.
Text messages
Program: Hometown Consult consultation texts.
What we send: texts about your consultation request, like confirmations, reminders and changes to your appointment.
How often: message frequency varies, usually a few texts for each consultation.
Cost: message and data rates may apply.
To stop: reply STOP at any time. We'll send one text to confirm, and then you won't get any more texts from this program.

You only get texts if you check the box for them, and you don't have to check it to get a consultation. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
No promises about results
We can't promise any result from your consultation or from any legal work. That depends on your situation and on the firm you work with.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site, like sending false information, trying to break it, or copying it. We may change or stop the site at any time.
Limits on our responsibility
We provide this site and our scheduling service as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses from using them, and we aren't responsible for the legal advice or work any law firm gives you.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
